BT Smart Hub 6 rebooting everyday at 12am

Did anyone manage to solve the nightly reboot issue? I am now kind of stuck between choosing either poor performance on PN hub 1 or the reduced download speed due to HH6 nightly reboot

Good thread. I deployed a HH6 084316 FW SG4B1000E020 at a friends house and it's behaving the same as others in this thread. Nightly reboots around midnight. I guess I need to find her a new router.

This reads suspiciously to me like there's a TR069 policy targeting affected routers. I'd expect this behaviour where something remote is configured to check that a device is on a particular firmware version, and if not, reboot it outside of waking hours so it can upgrade. The logic would assume that the target build has already been downloaded by the device at an earlier point in time.
Pure conjecture I might add, but it would make sense.
Not promising anything, but if a handful of you can message me your serial numbers then I may be able to deduce something.

+084319+NQ70381294 and my smart hub 6A is rebooting nightly with tr69 in the log. Any advice is appreciated thank you.

Thanks for you response, Just to let you know I had to reconnect my Hub one due to the midnight disconnection which was inconvenient for some in our house. Hope you can solve the problem as the HH6 definitely gave a better WiFi experience.

@Trekkie you may need to re-instate the Hub 6 as chances are it's further TR069 activity that's going to remedy things.

Same applies to you @CJCole - it seems your Hub 6 hasn't been online for some time?

Internet is not as fast with HHUB 5 but at least I'm not getting complaints about it switching off at midnight. I am intending to reinstall the HHUB 6 around 1 Sept when person who is using the internet at midnight goes back to university!

@bobpullen, thanks for your response, can you explain what you think is happening and what the TR069 activity is doing? Why is more required? How confident are you that it will settle?

What I suspect is happening is described in my earlier post.

If you and @CJCole want to reinstate your routers, then you might be pleasantly surprised come Midnight tonight

Good news! No reboot at 12, I will monitor its performance over the next couple days

This is encouraging...please do monitor and post over the next few days about this. I am also willing to plug the HH6A back if there seems to be a chance of resolution.

So I am assuming that this is probably on track of been fixed for everyone having the issue or was it something you changed in the back end for @CJCole and @Trekkie?
