I would have expected this to be fixed by now. Has your firmware updated since you set it up? What version of firmware are you on? What is the event log showing happens?

So I got the router on Sunday and set it up. I first noticed the problem that night at midnight but thought nothing off it.

So far it hasnt happened tonight.

 

Maybe it was something else other two nights.

Hi @bobpullen,

 

I was having issues with my Plusnet router (5 GHz) speed drops even when plusnet split the 2.4 and 5 GHz channels. I switched to a BT HH6 (serial number +084319+NQ73077714) after recommendations on this forum and now I seem to have the same issues that are coming up in this thread. Do you know if there is a solution or do I need to go back the plusnet router and keep rebooting every few days to have the 5G channel speed readjust.

@ProfJohnC I applied an update to your Hub One to resolve the speed issues on 5GHz as per the post here. Did that not fix things for you?

Exactly what problem are you having with the HH6? It only seems to have been in place a day or two Huh

Ah. Sorry @bobpullen - it was working but missed this and the hub 6 arrived so thought I’d swap over as i assumed it would drop again. I can easily change back to check. The hub 6 is giving me a stronger Wi-Fi range so that’s good! I experience a drop in 5 G today then connection issues so had to reboot the hub6. I saw the issues that others were having so thought that this was related. Thanks for all your help.

No worries. Up to you how you want to play it. The BT hub is a more capable device (has an extra couple of antennae for a start).
