BT Smart Hub 2 and firmware version v0.26.03.01286-BT

For info,  with the latest Version v0.26.03.01286-BT for BT Smart Hub2 has caused a problem for some customers  with 5GHz and 2.4GHz band widths for some Peripherals . The 5GHz band is knocking out connection and will need to be switched off in Smart Hub2 settings. BT are aware and meant to be working on a fix.

Just for information which may prove useful for any plusnet user using or about to use,  a BT Smart Hub 2

firmware v0.26.04.04227-BT should shortly be released to correct the fault of version v0.26.03.01286-BT which  blocked some peripherals from working correctly  when broadcasting was selected   on 5GHz and 2.4GHz Bands together .

It would appear that BT have now issued a new firmware for BT Smart Hub 2 from 6th July 2021 to correct the issues they had a few months ago with the previous updated firmware  v0.26.03.01286-BT which was extremely unstable for a lot of users and they pushed out the previous one v0.26.04.04227-BT on asking. 

vSmart Hub 2 Firmware -v0.27.06.04290-BT is presently the latest getting issued.
