Asus ZenWiFi XD6 with Full Fibre 900Mb?

Hello everyone

Do you think I could attach my existing Asus ZenWiFi XD6 to the new ONT, if I upgrade to Full Fibre 900? Will PN mind? And will it still work? Only it works really well with our current broadband setup, particularly as it has an extra node thingy, and I don't know if the supplied Hub 2 will be as good?

Thanks!

@RS00 You can use any compatible router with PN - they don't mind at all.

@RS00

Who are you currently with?

plusnet use PPPoE for upstream connections, you will need to configure the using these setting

Broadband username or login name - yourusername@plusdsl.net
Connection type or encapsulation - PPPoE
Password - The password you use for the members centre.

There is NO requirement for a VLAN as the ONT provides this.

WAN port of the Asus to ONT

@RS00 just be careful if you've got any QoS settings enabled  on the XD6. A lot of processing power is needed to use QoS at gigabit speeds, so you MAY find it needs to be disabled to get the full 900Mb speeds.
