I am new to Plusnet my services been set up on the 26th Sept,
What i would like to ask is this.
When on the phone to sign up the sales person said plusnet would do all the switching from my old suppler (virgin media) to plusnet,
Is this right because in my plusnet account area it says i must contact my current suppler if moving to plusnet?

Sorry to hear you've been advised different things regarding the transfer from Virgin.
As they operate on a different network completely separate from the BT network we provide on, they wouldn't receive notification that we're taking over the service.
I'd recommend giving them a call directly to cancel the service with them.
Having said this, it looks like we've been unable to retain your number during the transfer, so as a knock on affect of this the phone and broadband orders will be placed separately and the broadband will take around 5-7 working days to activate following the installation of the phone line.
