Will I get a router despatch notification?

I don't think that the router package will fit in the post box for my flat so I need to be home when the router arrives. Will I get a notification when the package is posted? It would be great to be able to track the package too.

@Chris-D No, you will not get a trackable notification - modem/routers are despatched via standard 1st class mail. If the postie can't get it through your letter-box, they will leave a card inviting you to either specify a day for re-delivery, or collect from your local Sorting Office.

Will I get a notification on the day the package is despatched? It would still be useful to know, even if I can't track it.

You will get notification by email ( and possibly text)  when the router is dispatched
