Re: Unacceptably Delayed Broadband order

Nobody is interested in what technical issues are involved. All people want is internet access via the broadband service they have chosen to sign up for in a decent time frame. I don’t think a month to swap over is acceptable.
People are stressed here don’t need these stupid questions.

Yup no one is interested in real world realities.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

@banjomir

Hi man. I just called plusnet and asked what was going on. The advisor said my broadband was showing as incomplete but he would try to activate it anyway.
Guess what. It’s now all online and working great.
He said it works for some but not others.
Might be worth a try

Re: Unacceptably Delayed Broadband order

@Jimbo23 Really glad to see you're online now! Cheers for your patience with that and I'll still follow things up with you on Tuesday.

@banjomir I'm so sorry to see things are still unresolved, I've escalated this further and will give you a call on Tuesday too.

Glad you got yours working @Jimbo23 but I will be cancelling mine today. Had enough.

Re: Unacceptably Delayed Broadband order

You can cancel with one ISP but that will not eliminate issues with BT Openreach.

Omg!! I can’t believe you are still waiting to go live.
That is horrendous.
Maybe Adam will sort it out today.

@Townman You don't say! That's why I am getting Starlink.

Nah, @Jimbo23 I had enough and cancelled.

Re: Unacceptably Delayed Broadband order

I just received an email from Plusnet saying "Congratulations, your Plusnet Home Phone service is now ready to use!"

What on earth is going on??? I CANCELLED IT!

Could someone please check if my broadband order is being cancelled properly? Of course, this would include whatever else Plusnet attempted to implement.
