Hi All, I found a few discussions of this but none quite like my situation
I ordered full fibre and I was given an confirmed install date of the 28th March. Openreach came out and found civil works required, cam back again and we agreed a cheaper route via our back garden as this avoided crossing any roads. The install date now keeps getting kicked down the road which I understand. Documentation suggests that I should get compensation for the delay at £6.25 per day up to a max of 60 days. Is that correct? The original confirmation email was for an engineer to activate the service.
I can't check my order as when I log in it just shows my last service activation.

If your original date was a 'confirmed' install date and not just a survey date for a 'KCI2 Assure' type install , then yes you should get the daily delayed install of £6.25 up to 1 April and then £6.46 onwards.
If a PTW (Permit to work) was needed for the civils , then the 'clock' is stopped whilst waiting for that permit, but restarts once permission is given.
As for the 60 days limitation then the Ofcom details say
Providers can put a cap on the amount of compensation they pay out. After 30 days of an automatic compensation payment occurring, they can serve a cease notice to let you know that automatic compensation payments would stop after a further 30 days.
Unless such notification is actually received then compensation continues until 30 days AFTER its received.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Thanks, Will check my messages, I was given an install date then several messages from Openreach. Not sure I ever saw a reference to KC12. The wording on the original order was a confirmed install date explaining what would happen on the day to drill into the house and fit the new fibre. You would have thought that the PTW flag should be very clear to me as a consumer. I do understand the issues but the whole point of these penalties is to stop Openreach dragging their heels.
