I have attached a pic of the internal boxes. The small rectangular box in corner is the splice box instead of the larger one they normaly put on outside.

Can you confirm the fibre cable comes in behind the rectangular grey box.

Yes. Straight through the wall into the small rectangular box which is a spliced joint , used a handheld tool/machine to do the splice. Wall holes also sealed up.
