Bring activation date forward

Good afternoon

I have requested full fiber service on the 17th of October and got told today my activation date is meant to happen on the 4th of November. Is there any way we can bring this forward? I need service to be activated asap due to work so if anyone could help I would appreciate a lot.

@jswcmba Unfortunately, I  doubt you will have much chance of it being brought forward - the dates given are reliant on Openreach engineer availability in your area.

The previous owner already had Plusnet service, the ONT is here and working properly so I shouldn't need an engineer visit for anything? Just waiting on the router to be sent. But thanks for the reply 🙂

Ah, that puts a different complexion on the issue. I suspect the previous owner requested a 'cease of service' which will mean there is a 10 working day hold on the transfer. If you need further information, you are best ringing PN Customer Support.
