Activation issue

Hi,
Before i try to call plusnet I wonder if anyone has had this experience please - my FTTP transfer was supposed to take place last Friday. I had openreach messages up until Thursday reminding me it was happening.

Friday - nothing. Plusnet account says there has been a delay

Monday - disconnected from old supplier and connected to plusnet. No email from plusnet confirming and nothing from openreach to say connected.

Today the account still says there has been a delay/broadband not yet activated. Previous supplier also seem to think i am still connected to them too which i obviously am not.

Would seem part of the order hasnt completed which effectively means i am paying for 2 services.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is this normal for plusnet?Huh

Although you paid PN in advance your Billing period doesn't start until your service goes live.

I would suggest you call PN - only they will be able to give you an explanation, as there are multiple possible reasons for such a delay.

Thanks. To confirm the service is live, just appears the admin side of switching isnt complete.
I just thought i would ask if anyone had a similar situation and if it resolved itself in a few days i would wait before calling.

I would certainly give them a call - the OTS system should not work this way.

Thanks again. I will try to get hold of them between work one day this week and update here however if anyone from plusnet spots this and can advise before then it would be appreciated
