Activation Date - 30th Aug

Any one know how long switching provider usually takes? My phone line has been dead since 8 am and haven't received any updates about the switch today and the last communication i got from Plusnet was on the 15th

It can take anytime up to midnight for your services to activate. Let us know if there are any issues tomorrow.

Got 4 emails saying my phone service is ready to use but still have no dial tone on phone. Any ideas?

It looks like your order completed and your account activated late last night. Since my tests aren't identifying any issues, I've raised a ticket on to your account with a couple of checks to do before we arrange an engineer visit.

Broadband is working fine but still no dial tone on the phone.

 

Think the fact that it is a cheap cordless phone is what's causing the problems.

 

Having internet access is the priority though as I need that for working, so I'm reasonably happy.

Upgraded to Fibre Extra as was having problems with streaming videos.

Bill has went up from £28 to £43. Broadband speeds still around 30mb max. Streaming still stuttering and my landline phone still doesn’t work.

Totally regret moving from Sky!

Voice Line Test Result Pass

 

my landline phone still doesn’t work.

This won't be helping things. I'll open a new ticket as the old closed due to no response.
