Why has my bill gone up by £7 to £42.96 when it’s not suppose to go up till April and then it should only be £37.99?

@nat23210 Check the details on page two. When did you take out your contract, and for how long?

Taken out march 2025 for 24 months, original contract was £32.99 and went up 31st march 2026 to £35.99. It says on 31st march each year the price will increase by £3. So the price shouldn’t increase till next year and then it will be £38.99. So why has the price gone up now and to £42.96?

I don't know why it has gone up, but as I said, check the breakdown of charges on page two of the invoice - or query with Plusnet.

@nat23210 are you sure it wasn't an 18 month contract ?

Check your confirmation email and/or login to the member Centre and check

18 months would fit for out-of- contract rates being applied around now

So,  @nat23210 - have you checked page 2 of the invoice to see what the extra is for?

@nat23210  Have you checked the breakdown of charges on your bill as @jab1 suggested?

It's actually £6.97 increase, so maybe for something else? Do you still have a landline with Plusnet? Could it be for phone calls?

Have you had a new router sent to you recently? Perhaps P&P charge?
