Out of the blue email about upload speed being downgraded

Just received this e-mail....

The order we placed to change your upload speed has completed.
Your upload speed is now 2Mbit/s.

I've no idea what it's about as I'd definitely wouldn't want to downgrade my service.
What on earth is going on?

God knows but I am sure a Digital Care Team Member will be along shortly to sort it out.
What appears to have happened is that some <unflattering description censored> has moved you to a 40/2 product from a 40/10 or 80/20 product
I am not sure this is the correct place for the post but it will be sorted anyway

I'm currently on the unlimited fibre package, so it's a big step down in terms of upload speeds.

We've a problem raised on this(76601) that has caused some account to have this modify order placed.
I've now placed a modify order to move you back to 80/20 which will complete on Monday.

Oh dear, internal problem 76601 mentioned a few posts ago strikes again. Sad
You could give the CSC a ring, though if you wait until Monday the Digital Care Team staff should be around to place an order to restore you to the proper product.
