Is there anyway to renew my old broadband contract when the system thinks there is Full Fibre available? I can't afford to pay £60/month for the end of contract rollover service. Once everything is sorted out FFTP is fine but not actually available to me atm.
There is Full Fibre theoretically available at my property. The problem is I live in a rented flat, so need permission from my landlord because of the drilling etc. I contacted them and they are fine but need to contact the freeholder because any alteration or drilling in external walls needs their approval. The freeholder is getting advice and making applications since we live in a conservation area and a listed building and any external work needs permission from the regulatory bodies. Other residents in the flats are waiting for this too but obviously there's no way of knowing how long this will take.

@maelgwnarddyn Your best option is to call COTS (Customer Options Team) on 0800 013 2632 and discuss with them.

@maelgwnarddyn I'd suggest calling the Customer Options Team on 0800 013 2632 and explain the situation.
They may be able to offer to recontract on FTTC and then when the Full fibre issues are resolved you would be able to upgrade to FTTP. Upgrading would start a new contract but without any ETCs on the old contract.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Have a look at the following
https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL
Where it says VDSL in the left column what does it say under SOGEA (to the right of the window)?
In the narrative what does it say about Fibre Priority Exchange (Y/N)?
If you stay with PN then you can upgrade to Full Fibre at any time during your contract (you just start a new contract). Note that if you still have a phone service you lose this.

Do you currently have a land line with FTTC? I'm doubting whether a change from FTTC with phone line to SOGEA would be allowed if you are in a Full Fibre priority area as it would be a change of OR product.
If you are already on SOGEA it should be possible to renew.
