Home Address Discrepancy and Password Change Problem

I’ve tried ringing for help but there was a long wait (and terrible music being played!), so posting here to see if anybody could help. When I sign into Plusnet and go to my account details the first line of my address is wrong, it’s the correct house number but misses off the name of our private road which branches off from a bigger road. Missing this means it reads as somebody else’s address further up the street. However if I look at my bills the first line is correct but misses off the name of the road we branch off from which is a vital part of our address. I’m positive I’ve contacted Plusnet about this before and was told it’s been updated but now there’s this discrepancy. 

My other query is about password changes. I changed it last week under ‘Manage your account’ and have double-checked I’ve changed it, but can only access my account and emails if I input my old password. I just can’t understand why it’s doing this and not registering my new password despite it showing on my account that I have changed it.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

A staff member may, or may not, pick up this thread.

 

In the meantime it might be worth checking what the OR Database has for you. Use the Address version of the following, enter your Post Code only and see what the drop down list offers.

Thank you Brian. I was hoping a staff member would spot this. 

I’ve checked the database and it lists both the address up the road and our correct address.

Thanks for flagging - I've updated your address now (so that it matches Royal Mail's records).

As for the password, could you try the forgot password tool Here?

I was wondering if you are able to assist again with our address please? We are having full fibre fitted soon and I’ve noticed today that Openreach have missed that important first line of our address off, so it reads as though we live in a different house down the road. I’ve tried looking for a contact for Openreach to inform them but can’t seem to find one. Plusnet now definitely have our correct address but I’m worried the Openreach engineer will go to the wrong house on the installation day.

I've had this looked into and I can confirm that the order with OpenReach is correct, it's just that their system shows addresses a little differently.
