I think I've been with Plusnet for around 20 years, mostly because it's been a issue-free experience.
Well, I need to leave now - because I've emigrated!
Just in case anything went wrong with my journey I wanted to wait until I was actually out of the country before ending my broadband.
But now they are not making it easy,
For an internet-oriented company they seem to insist that cancellations be by phone.
I can't even make calls in the country I'm in yet, let alone an international call.
Neither can I "report a problem" because the ONLY way they offer is text message.
They REALLY don't want to be contacted, do they?
So the only option is to send a letter..?
I think the problem is more easily solved just by cancelling my direct debit, then they can be the ones who make the effort to contact me.

If you are unable to call, then yes, a letter is the only option, @lensessions . Cancelling the DD will have legal consequences, as you have not informed Plusnet you wish to cancel, so as far as they are concerned, you are still a customer.
