Explain This month's updated Bill

Hi ,Charges just been updated on My monthly account for broadband & line rental . Notification recieved & my bills Increased from £22.29 to *£ 24.29* Can somebody please explain why your now Billing me £25.49 dosnt make sense to me ? Thanks help very much appreciated

@alcorn63 Possibly the CPI +3.9% increase advised in your contract?

Since the increase came into effect on the 31st March, there will also be the increased charge for the previous part month. You pay a month in advance , so say your billing date is th 16th, then this months bill will include the increased charge for the period 31st March to 16th April and then the next month in advance at the increased rate.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

I'm not sure I'd go that far🙄 but hopefully it explains why it is what it is...

😁What I meant was makes sense,as I didn't even think about being charged the new rate for part of a month,Thought rate would start at the begining of a billing month. 👍🏻😁
