Hello, I am moving from plusnet over to lightning fibre. Lightning fibre have told me I need to handle to cancelling of my plusnet account. When I call do I need to request a cease of service or a switching provider? Thank you

I am guessing 'Lightening' are an FTTP provider and you are currently on FTTC? In this case, I think they are correct. As this is a change of technology to an altnet, I suggest you wait until their service is up and running before contacting PN and requesting a 'cease of service'.
