I'm considering changing to Full Fibre.
If I did as my present contract does not expire until 16th April 2026 would I be liable for any exit fees.
One of my concerns is there is a problem with Plusnets server's preventing me sending any Emails to a Gmail account.
Is this problem with Plusnets server's going to be corrected as if not when my present Plusnet contract expires 16th April 2026 I will not be renewing and I will be going to another ISP.
Please advise.

@Don2138 If you move to Full Fibre with PN, there will be no ETCs, but it will entail a new fixed-term contract.
As regards the Gmail issue, have a read of this (very long) topic: https://community.plus.net/t5/Email/Problems-sending-PN-email-to-Gmail-addresses/m-p/2024046#M53989

The issue around the emails is not down to Plusnet - it is a result of Googles actions. Would this other ISP even offer a mail facility - many don't, these days?

The Plusnet email service is migrating to another provider (Greenby) in the near future.
I would wait and see what the outcome of that is for you before any further moves.
GMail, Microsoft (Outlook) and other providers are forever making difficulties around email in a (well intentioned) war against spam emails.
If you need to send to a GMail address, the most reliable thing is to have a GMail email address.

@markhawkin I don't want to take this off-topic, but I question: 'GMail, Microsoft (Outlook) and other providers are forever making difficulties around email in a (well intentioned) war against spam emails'
I have been plagued by spam emails emanating from Google (Groups) for at least all this year - the Group gets taken down after an extended period, and then resurfaces - so much for their 'war against spam emails'!

I have contacted Nominet who have advised me that if I change my ISP they will be able to link my Domain Name to my new ISP.
@Don2138 as @jab1 said above, most ISPs no longer provide any email service and have long since stopped hosting domains.
If you change ISP's you will need to pay for a third party registration and email hosting for your domain.

If I terminate my contract with Plusnet what would it cost.
My contract was for 24 months and expires 16th April 2026. I am at present paying £28:26 per month. So what would Plusnet charge me.

@Don2138 The only way you are likely to get a relatively quick answer to that is to call Plusnet - account queries of this type are not usually discussed on an open forum.

@Don2138 a rough estimate of Early termination charges is the sum of the monthly charges for the remaining months of your contract. In reality it may be slightly less than that but to get a accurate figure you would need to call the Customer Options Team (COTs)
They can be contacted on 0800 432 0080

You're right, I copied the other number from a recent post
