Billed for line rental twice on last bill of contract

Hi all - My contract is about to expire, and in my last bill I've been charged for line rental twice. Does anyone know why this would be?

Thanks

Re: Billed for line rental twice on last bill of contract

@dylant,

Hi!

Yes, if you contract is just about to expire then you will be charged Line rental from the start of your billing date to the end of your contract, then again from the end of your contract until your next billing date.

It shows as two since its part within and out of contract, It should add up to , the first half with your discount, the second half without the discount, it will be correct though.

If you look at the bill breakdown on your bill then you should see this.

I would recommend calling our customer options team on this number: 0800 013 2632

They will be able to help with re-contracting you and also ensuring you get the extra out of contract pricing back if you recontract in time.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Lex

There's usually devil in the details.

Is that "charged twice" in the headlines ... but ignoring any associated adjustments?  At times, billing can be a bit unclear, but it is usually correct.

One needs to also look at the detailed billing lines which might show billing from X to Y and Y to Z at different rates and possibly associated refunds on pre-paid amounts.
