Annual line rental

Switched from sky to PN when sky got rid of ALR - no penalties. I will still be in contract with PN until 7/22 but want to leave now. Anyone if I will incur any fees. I've been with PN for 3-4 years.

Re: Annual line rental

If you're still in contract with PN then you will be liable for early termination fees.

Re: Annual line rental

Thanks. An integral part of the reason for moving to PN has been removed by them. I want to leave as a result and have to pay for the privilege. Looks like I'll be leaving the day my contract expires Sad

Re: Annual line rental

Just to mention, but a majority of ISPs have withdrawn LRS.

Re: Annual line rental

Indeed, but sky let me leave with no fees. Plusnet should do the same or extend ALR until end of my contract. Sky price is now cheaper. And the router's not rubbish.

And others @mechanic123 - although I don't see the relevance of your comment, here.

Hey @iandhjolliffe

Thanks a lot for reaching out with what is a common issue with customers on 18 month contracts. Bare in mind though that Line Rental Saver runs alongside the contract you have for your services. Early termination Charges would apply though in this case should you decide to cancel your contract.

Re: Annual line rental

What's annoying about LRS withdrawal is that it's effectively an annual cost increase of whatever-it-is with not much notice and no clear benefit.
