Unfortunately for some reason the address on my bills have only shown my house number and postcode, and not the road name of my address. I have now got the address amended on the system via a telephone advisor, so that my next bill will show the road name also.
I require a utility bill dated within the last 3 months to submit for my proof of housing by January 14th, but all of the advisors I have spoken to tell me they cannot resend a bill to me with this amended address, even though my initial welcome letter shows the full line of my address including the road name, and it was an 'internal formatting error', as to why my bills do not show the full line of my address.
I saw another thread mentioning about a contract summary report, but have not been able to get this either. It sounds like this would be something dated within the last 3 months and also show my now amended address. Does anyone know how I could get a copy of this?

Do you not have a utility bill (gas/electric) which shows your address? I may be wrong, as I am no longer with PN, but I suspect the contract summary may not have your full address on it.

Fair enough, but as I say, you may find the contract notification doesn't have the address on it - I honestly don't kmow, nor how to get it.

Have you submitted the bill to whoever and asked if it is suitable?

Do you have a Council Tax notification - surely that has your full address?

Do you have a bank statement that you could use?
If you only normally get paperless statements, (like I do), you can normally download at least the past few months statements as PDFs. Even if you don't have a printer, if you can put the file on a USB stick, do you know someone else with a printer? If not, I am told that there are "Print Shops" that can print and scan documents etc, for a fee.

That being so, could you not try sending them a bill with your current address, accompanied by a print out from Royal Mail's online Post Code Finder showing only one address at your post code?

More hoops to jump 🙄. So the council are happy to issue a council tax bill to a property with only house number and postcode (and I suspect send any legal correspondence should you fail to pay such bill), but they won't trust their own records for UC.
Sorry, my comment doesn't help your situation, but I can feel your frustration.
Do you have a mobile bill, credit card or anything with the full address on? What about the electoral roll?

I don't understand the connection ?
The local council issue Council Tax bills, (obviously), but Universal Credit is administered and paid by the Department of Work and Pensions, ie a national government department.
There is no connection between the two.

Because of this line:
"Yes, I wouldn't have thought it would be an issue but the council have requested a bill showing the full address"
I've never been in this situation, so it looked to me as though it was the council not wanting to play ball. I've seen nothing referring to DWP in the thread.
