Unable to access 4G services whilst roaming

I have just PM'd you the PlusNet number that never picks up 4G in France. We are here until the end of September.

Just spent 4 days in Netherlands, 4G did not work at all on either of the three networks offered, manual selection

KPN

T-Mobile NL

Vodaphone - NL

always given the "E" level of data

Auto selection always connected to KPN network

Google maps would not load at all, luckily I have off-line mapping app to fall back on

Cant PM my number across for some reason " don't have authority"

I can however see a mobile number attached to your forum profile, does your number end in 656? Also are you overseas away from the UK at the moment and how long for?

@Gandalf understood, sorry. Bit of a delay granting me PM privileges so I posted another in case.

Heading to Malta tomorrow with two Plusnet mobiles, one ported, one not. Both recently unable to get 4G in Germany. If it helps, I can report whether or not either phone can obtain 4G access whilst in Malta. 

On the plus side, lack of 4G in Germany introduced us to the wonders of roaming esims, which worked perfectly.

@scotto, no worries, does your mobile number end in 456? I think I've found your account from your email address you've used to sign up for the forums. I hope you have a good time away! I've just come back from Sweden and Copenhagen.

@Gandalf Yes, that's the native plusnet number. My missus also has a plusnet number that she ported.

@scotto, for your number (...456) we can see you'd only been able to connect to 2G in Germany for less than a day on 02.07.22 and it would be handy to know if you can connect to 4G in Malta tomorrow. Maybe try your missus's SIM in your phone just to 100% rule out an issue with your phone handset.  

All the examples we've seen so far have been for numbers ported into us, though there are other similarities between your number and others we've got logged as affected.
