Messages Come In On Ported Number, Go Out On Temoporay Number

Sorry, a little long winded.

I moved over from Sky and had my old number ported over with me.

The problem I now have is this; If I make a call it goes through on my number, if someone calls me it comes through on my number, if someone texts me it comes through on my number, but if I reply to a text it won't send. Also I can't send outgoing texts, they just come up as Failed.

The only one I seem to be able to reply to is my wifes phone, but it comes up on her phone as the temporary number, not my number that I had ported.

Been told I need a new sim card, but wondered if anyone had any similar problems?

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S20 5G.

Sorry for the delayed response, it looks like you've since received your replacement SIM and we've activated it.
