How do I close my mobile account?

I've transferred my mobile number from Plusnet to a new O2 contract and cancelled my direct debit. Now I've received a bill from Plusnet with a late payment charge for £10 as they cannot take payment from my account. How do I deal with this? They never answer the phone, the live chat is useless, if I pay this will they charge me again next month?

Hi there, it sounds like there's been a payment owing on the account when it was closed. Have you tried contacting our dedicated payment line? That can be reached by dialing 500 from your mobile or 0800 079 1133 from any other line.

That's one of the several numbers I've rung. No-one ever answers.

Hello @skyblue67 can you please private message me with the following details so we can have a look into your account;-

 

- Your full name and please confirm if you are the account holder

- Your full home address, including postcode

- Your mobile number

Did you manage to get any further with this via our phone based support prior to sending @Dumbledore your details? 

If not, I'd be more than happy to pick this up on his behalf, I'd just need you to PM so we can go through some security checks prior to any account info being discussed.
