Does PN allow eSIMs yet?

Hi, just replacing an old iPhone 6 with an iPhone 13 which requires an eSIM. Not sure how to get one and the PN Help pages don't seem to address this issue (or at least I can't find it). How do I get one from PN please?

I've seen some older posts saying that PN doesn't support eSIM but I'm hoping it does now!

Many thanks

@winton20  Forget it, Plusnet are closing their mobile service soon but they won't say when. Move away to a supplier who will offer eSIM support.

Thanks. Wasn't aware that they were doing that! If they don't offer eSIM in the meantime then I'll look around now. Thanks again.

@winton20

Plusnet are currently offering transfers to EE on special deals, see https://www.plus.net/mobile

EE will provide an eSIM service if you ask.

Fix

Ignoring the Plusnet closure for a minute, why do you need an eSim? iPhone 13's have physical SIM support Huh

Re: Does PN allow eSIMs yet?

Many thanks for that! When we set it up last night it asked for eSIM and I suddenly remembered something in the last year or two about Apple moving to eSIMs - so just thought that was it from now on. Just read your comment and noticed the SIM tray on the opposite side - so thanks very much!!!

How observant am I - not? Thanks again, much appreciated.

Re: Does PN allow eSIMs yet?

eSIM only is for US iPhones, the rest of the world still get SIM slots Smiley

Quite handy as you can use the eSIM if you want to get roaming data in another country rather than using your UK SIM.
