Hello,
(1) How long Will ‘Plusnet Mobile’ continue in its current form, for original customers?
(2) Can an original customer change their current plan with Plusnet Mobile?
(3) Why Plusnet Mobile ‘poorly’ silent on the issue?
(only discovered the change when seeing what upgrade options there were & none!)
(4) EE isn’t very competitive directly so Plusnet would need to mirror their previous contracts, (plus extra GB for BB custs) else lose original customers

My current contract of unlimited calls & texts + 5GB data, (plus another 2GB for having broadband), was due to expire in late May. It was £6 per month, but was due to become £6.86 per month after the recent price increases.
I spoke to Plusnet last weekend to ask what would happen in May, and initially they directed me to EE. I pointed out that looking back at previous bills shows that even 5GB was far more data than I ever need in a month, and EE's price for that was £18/month on a 24 month contract. As you say - hardly competitive!
When I told them that I already had plans to move supplier, (to another MVNO), they put me on hold, and came back with an offer:
My existing services for the original £6/month - but on a rolling 30 day contract. (I guess that is so they can withdraw the mobile service at very short notice?).
I have taken the offer - for now: I still intend to move at some point fairly soon.
The new deal means that I can leave Plusnet Mobile a few weeks earlier that previously and avoid the price increase!
I can't see a downside?

I have 12gb rolling now £8.79 I think (from 7.65)
There are loads of competitive MVNO but nice to retain continuity.
