Thanks for that, a little mangle rule on the mikrotik router at the front and all seems to be ok on that test (only checked on the phone, and haven’t checked any of the websites yet) … can’t attach the image from the phone for some reason either!

I have just tried the problem website from Tuesday on the PC and the suggested fix has solved it!

Not sure if this is the correct thread to post a few of Plusnet specific IPv6 questions.

It appears to be working all OK on both IPv4 and Ipv6.

1. Is the Global Unicast Address assigned to me static ?

2. On the Hub2 IPv6 status page the DNS shows IPv4 Only - is this correct ?

I want to make sure that IPv6 addresses assigned on my network do not change -  there appears to be no way of doing this on the Hub2

The prefix is static.  The whole /56 is yours.  That's the first xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xx of the IP6 address.

Within that fixed prefix you might find that individual devices periodically use different IP6 addresses because of the privacy features of IP6 unless you setup and use either DHPC6 or static addresses on your devices.

I.e. the remainder of the address may vary - the 'y' part: xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxyy:yyyy:yyyy:yyyy:yyyy 

I don't use the Hub2 so can't help on that bit, but the PlusNET DNS servers do resolve IP6 addresses, so that shouldn't be a practical issue unless you have some IP6-only devices.

Devices will get IPv6 addresses using SLAAC (Stateless address autoconfiguration) and some will also use DHCPv6. 

I dont use a Hub 2 but I dont think there is any option to allocate fixed IPv6 addresses using its DHCP server. Some other routers do have the option. As regards SLAAC allocated addresses, Linux systems have the option to specify a 'token' which defines the lower 64 bits of the address to be used.
