Re: Public release

@dave  - another request to be considered for the trial (or the reserve list) please - I've got a dynamically-assigned IPv4.

Re: Public release

Good afternoon @andrew_munro.

It may be after the Christmas period that this is picked up, but I can absolutely forward this on to Dave for consideration.

Please don't mention these in public, but are you happy for me to send over the details linked with your Community profile?

@dave @Peter_JW

I have a Full Fibre 900 static ip connection. Using a glinet Flint2 Router (OpenWRT) and would love to be added to the trial when a space is available thank you 🙏

Re: Public release

Hi @Peter_JW  ,

Yes, absolutely happy for any details in my profile to be sent to whomever if that's needed to be part of the trial - I understand there's been plenty of interest in this, so understand that it's likely to be after Christmas before there's any movement on this.

Thanks again,

Andrew

Re: Public release

Thanks @andrew_munro, I'll forward your details over so @dave has these available in the new year, along with @walterwhite and @putney.

Based on his earlier messages it does seem it's closed right now, but I'll make sure your interest is kept on file should any new space on the trial open.

Thanks for the PMs everyone, my change is in the system for 10pm on 6th January.

@veremitz I've added you to the reserve list. I'm hoping to add some extra staff members next year so will be in touch then.

Change deployed for those on the pre-Christmas list. You should all now have IPv6. This should also fix both @druck and @Townman.

Anyone that's put your name for for the reserve list I'm going to add a few staff members in a few weeks so will post back nearer the time.

Re: Public release

Working for me 👍. I run Unifi home network and configured it ahead of time. Just checked and I have working IPv6 address.

Thank You Dave for making this happen.

Re: Public release

Thanks Dave - I can't seem to get it to work on my firewall with the settings I've used for IPv6 connectivity in the past (using the correct prefix size for Plusnet), but I'll start a separate thread for troubleshooting.

Re: Public release

Sorry to bump this thread with another reply, but just to note that my IPv6 connectivity is now working after some troubleshooting and assistance from the community.

Re: Public release

Odd that the newly added ones aren't using IPv6 when accessing the forum though,  whereas the older ones are all showing IPv6.

@dvorak

Do you profile me as old or new (in that I’ve been reconnected)?  Looking at my profile, it reports my most recent connection as IPv6.

Re: Public release

I just worked out where to check. My ‘Ip address of last visit’ is currently IPv6. My device is currently on the home subnet where I enabled IPv6. If no issues I’ll enable on other subnets.
