Still having problems. Not getting any DNS or gateway from Plusnet. Even the fix isn't working.

Re: Billion 7800N: Not Working!

I can see that you're connected to the right account and you're being served a v6 IP now, so that's a step in the right direction. Try specifying the DNS servers, we don't have our own IPv6 caching servers so we're using Hurricaine Electric's DNS: https://dns.he.net/
Hope that helps,
Adam.

Re: Billion 7800N: Not Working!

Adam, the problem seems to be with the gateway from Plusnet. I am only being assigned the IPv6 address from the router.

Re: Billion 7800N: Not Working!

Is there a manual IPv6 gateway address that I can enter?

Re: Billion 7800N: Not Working!

There's no issues with the gateway itself so I'm not sure why that is.
It might be worth your while asking if any other customers are using the 582n on IPv6 to post their config for you.
I'll be off shortly and won't be back until the new year so have a good Christmas Smiley

Re: Billion 7800N: Not Working!

I have a good update! I tried firmware 1.06b-6 from the Australian Billion site and IPv6 works without needing to do the fix! It connects first time and works 100%. PeteB: would you like to try 1.06b-6 to see if it works for you as well?

Hope to try it out early tomorrow morning.
Using the trial 582n at the moment.

Re: Billion 7800N: Not Working!

IPv6 and 1.06b-6 is NOT working for me. I have tried Windows 7, Vista, Android & Linux.
Will investigate further when I get some time to spare.

Re: Billion 7800N: Not Working!

It's either a coincidence or it's the firmware. But after doing a factory reset it is still working.
