I have a 'phone fault which PN are in the prolonged process of getting fixed. However, in a ticket update, yesterday, this was written "I have contacted our suppliers today and they have informed me that the engineer which was scheduled to go out was not able to investigate as there was a lack as resources in the area." What the heck does that mean? i.e. the resources bit - no van, no tools, no "engineer", no cherry picker, no digger, no will, no sandwiches etc.?
It usually means lack of engineer resource Could be caused by a few different things, i.e. Previous jobs overrun and there aren't enough engineers to get someone else to pick the job up. Higher priority jobs come in and resource is moved on to other jobs. I've seen it when engineers have been in car crashes/got a flat tyre and there's no one else in the area to cover the job. Apologies for any inconvenience this caused, I hope you're not waiting too much longer.
