Master point relocation

We have recently bought a house and need to have some alterations carried out to the incoming BT line. The anchor point needs to be moved as it is currently fixed to the facia boards which are to be replaced. We also need the master point to be moved from above the front door to a position in the hallway. Does anyone know who we need to contact or how we go about getting this done?

You need to ring PlusNet up who will arrange it with Openreach. Expect to pay around £160 to have the master socket moved.

Or check local paper, where there are often ads by ex O/Reach engineers offering their services at a lower ££.
