xbox live connectivity issue

Have you tried plugging your router into the test socket and see if that makes any difference?

we've had it plugged into the test socket for  well over a year now, due to dodgy wiring around the other sockets.

Hi vespy, do you have your xbox or pc/laptop wired to your router or do you use wireless?
