hi im due to switch from sky fibre (15 ping 72down and 17up)
is there anything i should no or do to the router when i recieve it and go active to ensure i get the best possible gaming experience as well as being able to live stream at the same time.
is the fibre really as good as its made out to be ????

moved to Gaming as there may well be some rules you need to add depending on the Game

I'd imagine you'd be fine with that bandwidth. The important thing whilst live-streaming is not to saturate your upload. I'm on ADSL2+ with a 0.9Mbps upload which means streaming is pointless for me as 360p is pretty much the best resolution I can manage. My capture device shows the highest quality 720p requiring 8Mbps upload. If the upstream is saturated you will have awful lag, with latency very high and inconsistent.
Other forum users may have info regarding QoS that may be helpful if you have issues.
