Problems with online games

Hi there, i am a loyal plus net customrer but i am getting extremeley frustrated with constant drop outs in online games. I seem to randomly lose connection when playing BF3 and Wargame on steam, and occasionally on Company of Heroes. The internet connection itself doesnt drop but i lose connection to the game.
Please help

Re: Problems with online games

It has been an intermittent problem, but yes, it has specifically happened tonight
Strangely it seemed to be working at around 5.30, but now since 8.00 the same game has repeatedly had this problem of randomly dropping me

Have you tried a reboot?  We've got some congested gateway tonights which might be causing problems.

Re: Problems with online games

Hi there,
It looks like you might only be turning on the router when you're using the connection? I'd recommend keeping it on all the time if that's possible, just to see if that does improve things for you.
