Hi
Am trying to install Hamchi (Win XP Pro) but during network setup/install I get a BSOD and DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error and then reboots.
I have to system recover to get stable working PC back.
OT: Is there an easy way to setup a Netgear router for friend to connect two PCs rather than use Hamchi even? The server can't be seen by other PC but can see itself only.
Thanks

Hi,
if you are trying to host a server at home and then let people join from the internet you need to work out which if any ports need to be forwarded. Then configure your router to direct any incoming traffic to your server (port fowarding). Be very carefull if you are doing this and make sure you only open up the minimum ports required and also that you server has the latest patches for everything.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for that. I only wish to host a server on a LAN though.
