That's an interesting consideration.  TP-Link have a good article on that subject - How to place your wireless router for optimal reception and performance | TP-Link

That said, I would expect that the Hub Two's twin antenna array already does the same...

I get that but there is a lot of confusion between wireless/broadband and routers/access points and faster BB speeds are only going to exacerbate that.
