Hi Plusnet Support Team,
I am writing to request that a staff member raise an Openreach Wholesale (ORW) FTTP / Address Database Query regarding a missed block in a Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU).
The Situation:
Location: Winton Circus, Saltcoats, KA21 5DA.
Building Layout: The property is a single building consisting of 16 flats across two main door/stairwell numbers: 15 A–H and 16 A–H.
Wayleave: A full wayleave agreement covering all 16 flats was granted and processed by Openreach.
The Issue: Openreach engineers recently visited and successfully installed/activated Full Fibre (FTTP) for all 8 flats in 15 (A–H). However, 16 (A–H) was not completed, and all flats in 16 are still showing as unavailable for FTTP on Openreach/Wholesale systems despite sharing the exact same building and wayleave.
Could a forum staff member please submit an address/availability check ticket with Openreach planning to investigate why Block 16 was omitted and when it will be updated on the database?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Not always a good idea publishing your address on a public form.
This form might prove useful; https://www.openreach.com/forms/fibre-broadband-availability---customer-form
The Openreach checker https://www.openreach.com/ for your address says "We’ll be building in this area in the next year"
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Hi Dan - thanks very much for the reply.
The address I have posted is for the building, not for my individual address within the building.
I have already completed the form you sent a link to, emailed the MDU contact who dealt with the wayleave and even sent an email to Openreach CEO office,
I am about out of options, my last straw that I am clutching at is to get Plusnet to help by contacting Openreach with the details in my original post.
Really at the end of all my options.

There maybe technical reasons why Full Fibre was not added to your block; after checking other addresses for postcode KA21 5DA your block seems to have been left out.
Was the Openreach CEO of no help, as usually they are.
Is someone able to help ?

Hi @JC121067
Thanks for coming to the community.
The Openreach availability checker form, that you have already completed is the correct way to get this looked into.
Let us know how you get on once Openreach get back to you.
Leanne.

Hi @Leanne_T thanks for replying,
they have already responded with the nonsense answer below, telling us to contact the MDU team (which I already told them I had done) and going on about obtaining the wayleave (which I already told them they have).
I was advised that ISP's are able to contact Openreach directly as described in my original post when customer's are coming against a brick wall and raise an Openreach Wholesale (ORW) FTTP / Address Database Query with them.
Here is the useless reply from Openreach to my form -
Thank you for your enquiry.
As your property is classified as a multiple dwelling unit (MDU), additional work is required to supply your building. We must obtain legal permission from the landlord, managing agent, or freeholder before installing the necessary equipment.
The building owner, managing agent, or legal representative must register their interest by completing the form on the link below. Our MDU specialist will then contact them to discuss installing full fibre in your building.

Please note: We do not provide timescales or progress updates. All communications regarding progress must go through the owner/managing agent.
