Loss of internet

There was a local outage on my fibre fttp service on Thursday 27/11/25 have been stuck on the Solid Amber light. Been back and forth with Plusnet. The usual, switch off/ on several times. Factory reset on ONT box and router, change username on hub to what it was. Video calls to confirm cabling. Eventually had an Openreach appointment yesterday with no success. New router ordered now arrived and I am still at Solid Amber. Plusnet pointing the finger at openreach and the engineer blaming plusnet.
Anybody else had something similar or know what else to try?

What colour is the LOS light on the ONT?

So, there is a solid connection to the ONT. The issue  is the connection between the ONT and the router. What username is displayed on the Hub?

Username is the one I use to access plusnet website and account ending in @plusdsl.net

So are Plusnet! They are blaming openreach as that is too easy. The problem didn’t exist before the outage but according to openreach all is fixed at their end. Hopefully I get sorted soon. Thanks for your response

If the lights on the ONT are three solid green and your credentials are correct, then it is a Plusnet problem. Try a full factory reset of the Hub - Again.

Fix
Done factory reset of the hub. Still the orange light.
Gave it one final try. Reset hub then left and then reset the ONT.
It’s a miracle I am connected!!! I did it after midnight I wonder if Plusnet reset my connection?
Who knows who cares now. Thanks

Glad you are connected. I doubt PN would reset your connection that late in the day, they don't have staff on that late in the day.

Absolute speculation but Openreach run their configuration tasks (it used to be called "the robot" but I don't know if it still is) after midnight.

A configuration "push" may have been the fix.

I am the satisfied customer....
