Full fibre few seconds loss of connection

The drop is random and only for a second or 2 and only randomly. The only time u notice is on games as it pops up WAN Disconnect then wan reconnect. It’s so fast but if you on an online game it kicks u off.

I checked the logs and the main errors for this I found are this WAN connection WAN1_INTERNET_ETH disconnected.[ERROR_NO_CARRIER]

Is this a normal full fibre issue? What’s the fix? I have had it about 6 months. It’s I have noticed happen about 20x Sometimes 5 times in a day. Then nothing for weeks

@Ukstevo7

That message WAN1_INTERNET_ETH disconnected.[ERROR_NO_CARRIER] suggests there is a break in the connection from your router to the headend equipment.

If a Hub two does the light go solid orange or flashing orange.

Solid - fault from ONT to the head end

Flashing - cable between the router and ONT.

Have you check all the cables are secure?

Re: Full fibre few seconds loss of connection

No it’s so fast that u can’t look at the lights. The hub tho I can glance at and it stays blue. It’s literally 1 sec. It’s so fast. But online gaming it’s long enough to kick you out of a match.

I replaced the Ethernet to the ps5 pro thinking it was that. But it’s still doing it randomly maybe 1x a wk But noticed it on my Xbox so now I know it was not the ps wire.

The hub tho stays looking normal. It’s not like a reset that you get like old fibre would for a reset at night.

It’s just a pop up on the ps saying WAN DISCONNECTED. Then instantly pops up saying re connected. So it’s less than a second.

Any chance you can attach the hubs event log?
It exports as a CSV file, I'll take a look at it tomorrow, curious to see the sequence of events.
