Can't access certain websites through Plusnet

Hello,

I've had PN full fibre since May.  In the past month I've been unable to access Topcashback or Nationwide Building society when I'm connected through Plusnet.  It's the same whether I go through my PC (Hardwired to the router) or through my phone (via Wifi).  If I disconnect my phone and go to 4G or put in a VPN on the PC then I get though.

Read up on this and I turned off the router (TPLink AX3000) for a while so I received a new IP address.  All worked fine for a day then resorted back to the problem

My current IP is 146.198.238.xx.  If I run this though a blacklist check I get a blocked report from zen.spamhaus.org

I can't see any blockers on the router my end.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Matt

Yes - Topcashback and Nationwide are using out-of-date geolocation data - ignore the zen.spamhaus.org result.

@maffie587 Just to eliminate one possible issue causing your underling problem: I can get both sites without problems on a PlusNet  connection. But I have an 80.xx.xx.xx address.

Re: Can't access certain websites through Plusnet

I've logged into my Nationwide account in the past 1-3 days, obviously using online access to the site.

IP addresses? My IP address range appears to now be restricted to a /25. That's my current assessment.

Re: Can't access certain websites through Plusnet

Update.

Turned off the router overnight to get a new IP address.  I got 172.17.8.1.  Everything worked for 24 hours, but this evening I have found out that my IP address has somehow changed back to 146.198.238.xx.  The last 2 digits are different from before, but the problem accessing certain websites has reappeared

Lets try PN directly

There is nothing Plusnet can do if other companies don't keep their IP Location data up to date.
