So 2 weeks later sadly still the same.
1. Best Effort Test:
Download Speed : 52.4 Mbps
2. Upstream Test:
Upload Speed : 13.06 Mbps
Your speed test has completed and the results are shown above, however during the test an error occurred while trying to retrieve additional details regarding your service. As a result we are unable to determine if the speed you received during the test is acceptable for your service. Please re-run the test if you require this additional information.
Moderator's note by Mike (Mav): Changed thread title slightly to differentiate from previous thread.
Fixed! Go to the fix.

Hi there,
I've worked the fault ticket on your account. You can view this here. We're seeing a high amount of usage flowing with your connection at the time of the test you've run previously.
We need you to complete the BTw speed test once more, making sure that you're using a wired connection and there are no other devices using your connection at the time of the test.
Thanks

Did a BT Speed test and then a speed test with Ookla.
BT D/L 19Mbps, Ookla 51Mbps screen shot attached hopefully.
However I did notice on Ookla that I am with BT Global Services, in the past when I have used Ookla it has shown Plusnet any ideas why please.

Will all this continuous activity affect the speed?

The router log doesn't seem to flag up anything for concern as far as I can see.
51Mbps on a speed test seems in line with the estimates for your line, which are 49-67.1Mbps.
However I appreciate they're recording low on the BT Speed tester. Are you actually experiencing slow speeds, or is this just via the BT Speed tester?

Speeds seem fine it just shows a slow speed via the BT Speed Tester.
But still not got an answer why does Ookla show I am with BT Global Services, everywhere I ask it seems to be ignored

Your router log will shows lots of things, especially when you log in to the router as it records each event that passes through it including logons etc. It's absolutely nothing to worry about.
Ookla speedtests may show that you're with Global Services as the IP address you are connected on will have been one of theirs at some point and the record simply hasn't updated. Again, nothing to worry about.

Thanks Chris, however I remember checking, albeit some months back, my speed through Ookla and I was then registered with Plusnet. Presume then my IP address has been changed but as you say nothing on that point to worry about as Plusnet is part of BT.
On the other hand, in the log there is:-
19:49:41, 12 Jul. | (453753.850000) CWMP: session completed successfully |
19:49:41, 12 Jul. | (453753.680000) CWMP: HTTP authentication success from https://dbtpnhdm.bt.mo |
19:49:39, 12 Jul. | (453751.690000) CWMP: Server URL: https://dbtpnhdm.bt.mo; Connecting as user: ACS username |
19:49:39, 12 Jul. | (453751.690000) CWMP: Session start now. Event code(s): '2 PERIODIC,4 VALUE CHANGE' |
19:49:39, 12 Jul. | (453751.410000) CWMP: Initializing transaction for event code 2 PERIODIC |
Which does concern me having researched CWMP on the internet, why would this happen when I am not with BT.

All that's doing is connecting to a TR069 (auto-setup) server that we use to ensure your connection details are correct.
