I explained to Plusnet when I signed up for the 40/20 deal that I would be using an unwired set up. I was told this was fine and from the results I achieved from the start I assume this should still be the case.
Wireless speeds can't be guaranteed which is why we always ask for tests on a wired connection.
Your estimates are good, so you should achieving close to the fastest speeds for your package:
Featured Products |
Downstream Line Rate(Mbps) |
Upstream Line Rate(Mbps) |
Downstream Range(Mbps) |
WBC FTTC Availability Date |
WBC SOGEA Availability Date |
Left in Jumper |
||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
High | Low | High | Low | |||||
VDSL Range A (Clean) | 80 | 64.1 | 20 | 20 | -- | Available | -- | -- |
Your line is stable so that's not causing any problems:
Your line is in sync at a higher speed that your package, so that's not causing any problems either:
Sync Status | In Sync |
Downstream Speed | 73.2 Mbps |
Upstream Speed | 20.0 Mbps |
If your speeds are consistently slow on a *wired* connection I'd advise reporting the issue to us at https://faults.plus.net

There's some guides here: https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/getting-the-best-wifi-signal/
Hopefully they'll help out.
