Please someone help him on this I know your over worked with the problems but this is shocking

The engineer will be an Openreach guy so PN will, undoubtedly, blame Openreach if they have messed up.
However, Both PN and Openreach are, essentially, just glorified BT cost centers so really any blame should sit squarely on the shoulders of the parent company ----- BT
But guess what?
BT only split themselves up to gain customer confusion and an excellent buck passing system
Hope your eng. turns up but don't rely on him/her fixing any problems
