Our tests are showing their router in sync at 52.6mbps. However the min, max and average downstream line rate is 54.9mbps so I requested the reset on the back of that as something doesn't seem right.

Nice one Gandalf. I do hope that his line will be in a better sync rate than before. The trouble is GEA Test is always one or two weeks outdated by BT system. Is there any chance to ask BT to speed it up like updated every 24 hours not have to wait for a new GEA Test to be updated after 7 or 14 days to avoids all the wrong information given to the customers.

Hi Gandalf,
Thanks for doing this. I noticed just before i went to sleep last night that my SNR had been reset.
I understand that this could take a while as you said, but could you explain what should happen next.
"Our tests are showing their router in sync at 52.6mbps."
By "theirs" do you mean mine? If so, we've not been able to get to 52Mbps for months
Cheers

Looks like your router is now in sync at 56.9mbps so you've got a small increase.
"Our tests are showing their router in sync at 52.6mbps."

By our tests I'm referring to a line tests we run.
If so, we've not been able to get to 52Mbps for months
Apologies if this is covered before, but are you testing over a wired or wireless connection?
There's no reason that I can see which would prevent you from getting close to your sync rate on a speedtest.

@N7ck the DLM remote reset was first removed G.INP then after 3 days it will return of G.INP enabled back on to increase the sync rate. That's what it did on my line when @Gandalf did dlm remotely resetted on my line last february. It's took five days for the G.INP and fully resetted by BTw.
@N7ck please check your router to see if downstream G.INP is disabled or enabled?

Galdalf - Wired only (wireless is too unpredictable).
Still enabled on DL, but reduced to 3.

@N7ck I been checked what is DLM INP on mine last Feb, yes mine is matched your as u need to wait for three more days for the INP to become 48 with interleave depth set at 8 from 1115 then it will be fully resetted. Your banded has now been removed. The INP 3 mean the G.INP is disabled. If you can download the software called DSLstats here: http://dslstats.me.uk/ and it will tell you that G.INP is disabled with INP of 3.

Very important, do not mess with your Billion router, leave it alone, the DLM will be fully resetted within next 3 more days then the INP of 3 become 48 and interleave depth become 8 from 1115 and the G.INP will activated and will increase your sync rate higher.

DSLStats work brilliantly with Billion 8800NL which I still got it. More features and more information from the fibre. If u need any help with this software, inbox me anytime.
This is my latest stats from the software as u can see G.INP Enabled or Disabled below:

@N7ck congrats your DLM has successful resetted. Your sync rate now gone up 65Meg from 56Meg as the G.INP is now enabled on downstream with INP 47 and Interleaver depth at 8. If your getting 50Meg throughput speed from ethernet I suggest to check with PN current line speed here: https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed as you should be getting closer to around 61Meg from BT IP Profile rate of 63.5 Mb from BT Wholesale bras ip profile so it would mean your plusnet current line speed should be set at 63.4 Mb. This is the maximum speed you getting at the moment unless DLM might put target SNR 3dB if your cabinet are one of the trial as target SNR 3dB will increase your sync rate of 10 Meg extra better overall in time around 75 Meg.
