change a setting on the PlusNet Community

Can someone tell how to change the settings so I don't get an email notification everytime someone replies to my topic?

Thanks

Hi @Mark38

This should work:

(1) Click your name/avatar top right of page, and select 'My Settings' (fifth item down).
(2) Then select 'Subscriptions and Bookmarks' (sixth tab across).
(3) Then select 'Notification Settings' (third tab across, second tab row).

There's a wide range of options you can select from.

There are other routes for getting to the Notification Settings page, but that's what I used when figuring it out.

Regards,

Penny.

And do you know how I can close/delete a topic?

.

As far as I know, only the Moderators - @dvorak , @Mav and @Baldrick1 - have the ability to close (lock) a topic or to remove it altogether.

And to follow from @Penny 's comment above, unless the mods decide a topic is not suitable for the forum, or breaks forum rules, they are not removed - they are left in place in case they may help others.

Re: change a setting on the PlusNet Community

Both @jab1 and @Penny are correct, this could be a useful topic for others so no need to lock or remove it.
