A broad question I know, but given that I have been asking for 'Full Fibre' for a couple of years now, were in a FF area, friends have it (not 500 metres down the road), there's a new Fibre Cabinet just over the road, a Toby Box at the top of my drive and now, to top it off, Virgin Media, knocking on the door telling me I can have 150Mb FF for just £23.99 p/m NOW!
PlusNet (BT) you need to get on to this now - it's taking far too long!
Fixed! Go to the fix.

What results do you get using the following link.https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL using your phone number or address?
If the WBC FTTP says available then you should be able to place an order.

A check on the Plusnet page only shows Fibre not Full Fibre available to me.

The exchange is not in a current fibre priority programme
As a WLR withdrawal exchange, product restrictions apply
SOADSL is not restricted at the exchange
First line implies no Full Fibre?

Although it says FTTP is Not Available, does it mention WBC FTTP?
I believe this sometimes appears before availablitiy with a note to the right of the entry. Unlikely but you never know.

Try putting in the address of near neighbours. 'Holes' in BT Openreach's FTTP availability database are not unheard of.
If near neighbours show FTTP availability, there are processes (on enquiry) available to Plusnet to check for BT database omissions.

Does the chamber (Toby) box say BT / Openreach or maybe 'VM' suggesting it is not a BT one ?
The cabinet will be for FTTC (fibre to cabinet, then copper to house) or 'Fibre' as it confusingly gets called. FTTP does not need or use the 'fibre' green cabinets.
FTTP availability can be a lot smaller than 'an area' depending on the runs, it took my rural exchange (a 2 mile radius for 300 lines) about 6 months to complete in 4 chunks.
Are you overhead or underground feeds ? If overhead can you see any 'CBT' units up the poles (see image)?
If so, are they fully used ?
(You are not meant to lift the lid on the box at the top of your drive to see what is in it)

That is true for OR FTTP, but lots of altnets use green (or other colour) cabinets for FTTP - both as drop boxes which have no electronics, and server cabinets which do.
You can check which altnets are in your area using the Better Internet Dashboard or similar.

Hi Plusnet Support Team
Based on another post re No Ticket or Email Contact options, I'm using this Post to follow up on a Full Fibre option.
I have been offered FF by Virgin Media and they have confimed that FF, 150MB or 300Mb is available to me right now.
Given VM have it here now, can you check and let me know (I did ask on previous checks to be notified) if PN can offer it me NOW and if so, how much and whats the next step?
TIA
Paul

Virgin Media have their own network and don't use OpenReach's.
