Setting up https:// for existing website hosted by Plusnet.

I am trying to set up https:// access for my websites hosted on your servers.

I have referred to your SSL Security Guide page at https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/ssl-security-guide/.

Using the provided advice, the following address appears to use your SSL Certificate and provide https:// access to my main hosted website (I've replaced the actual username and website name): https://homepages.plus.net/username/sitename/. Links from the home page to other pages on the site seem to retain the secure access htpps:// prefix so I assume they are "secure".

However I would prefer to use the registered domain name www.website.co.uk which is provided by Plusnet as part of my hosting package. The "homepages.plus.net" version looks very amateurish.

Is there a way of using the Plusnet SSL certificate and retaining the www.website.co.uk domain name?

Failing that, can an externally provided SSL certificate be used on your servers? I have LetsEncrypt in mind.

I'm afraid our hosting platform doesn't allow for this to be used on hosted domains, apologies.
