I have installed mambo 4.6.2 it is set up correctly as far as I can see.
But when I try to move off the HOME page I get 'Not Found' and The requested URL /files/home2/interference/index3.php was not found on this server. Even though the file is there.
site address is www.guild-interference.org.uk
Any ideas anyone.

Is /files/home2 within your root directory?
When you set-up Mambo, did you specify any full path names which included /files/home2/..... ?. If you did you may have entered the full path incorrectly as it should be:
/files/home2/username/yy
where username is your plusnet account name and yy is any sub-directory you need to specify within your root folder.

Hi peter.
The file is in the root directory of the site.
Mambo 4.6.2 uses your absolute path within the global settings, and reads this on the cgi server as "/share/storage/02/in/interference/" in my case.
Found the problem ::).
In Global settings there is a tab called "SEO" 'Search Engine Optimization' with an option for "Search Engine Friendly URLs:"
I had selected 'Yes' and could not get past the home page. I have now selected 'No' and links are now working.
Lets hope that this is the only glitch with it ;D.
